Each and every person that has ever on this earth has had to encounter with certain types of hurdles. These are the obvious part of life. We can, however, choose how we react to them. However, it depends on us, how we react to them.

Below I have listed what I believe to be the

1. Sentiments
We can be grooved in our own negative emotions and thoughts and make difficult for us to focus.

2. Self-worth
self-esteemLack of self-confidence sets up for failure we even start. Not having faith in yourself often leads to self-sabotage.

3. Money
If we don’t even have enough money to just meet basic necessities of life and are constantly struggling then it will be difficult to concentrate on the higher goals.

4. Health issues
It is normal to have health issues in our life. Sometimes it may be worse and it’s tough to stay optimistic when we feel like crap.

5. Awareness
Sometimes we don’t have the desirable knowledge but this can be the easiest difficulty to overcome.

6. Perfectionism
Stop taking stress to be or to make everything perfect as nothing or no one is perfect.

7. Anxiety
Peace-of-Mind1Involve yourself in the activities that will reduce stress like a short walk, a nap, deep breathing, laughter etc.

8. Interruptions
Do not allow any stranger to do interference in your life. Avoid them when at all possible.

9. Time-management
Learn how to utilise time as much as you can. We can make the procedure do anything that we truly desire.

10. Arguments
Every person has his own point of view and different opinions. Accept the other person’s decision and learn to adjust.

11. Relationships
Dissimilarities are a part of life. There will be times that we disagree with our partner, families, relatives, friends and business partners which may cause you to interrogate your aims.

12. Dependencies
alcoholicAny substance addiction like drug and alcohol often cause the most harm to a person– but any type of addiction is a hurdle; Including betting, shopping, sex, smoking, eating, etc.

13. Nature
Natural disasters cause trauma and sorrow over our loss of family and friends or belongings. Tornados, cyclones, quakes, floods, storms etc. It’s a part of life.

Many of the obstacles in life are due to the beliefs we have.

Communication is the soul of every organisation. Everything you do results from effective communication. Hence, good reading, writing, speaking and listening skills are crucial if jobs are going to be accomplished and goals attained.

1: Become an engaged listener
If your motive is to understand and associate with the other person, proper listening will often come naturally.

a) Focus fully on the speaker: Apart from hearing, one should focus on the speaker’s body language, voice tone, and other non-verbal signs. The tone of voice delivers emotion, so if you’re busy in doing other things, checking mobile phones or doodling, you cannot understand the emotional part of the words and miss the nonverbal hints.

b) Avoid interrupting: Waiting for your turn to speak next is not as same as the listening. If you are going to make plans about what you are going to say next, then you can’t concentrate.

c) Show your interest: Nod sometimes, smiles at the person and make sure your gesture should be right and inviting.

e) Provide feedback: At the end of the speech, reflect in your own words.

a) Be aware of individual differences: Different people have a different culture, age, religion, and mental state and all have different nonverbal communication gestures.

b) Look at nonverbal communication signals as a group: Don’t recite too much into a particular gesture or nonverbal sign. Study all of the nonverbal signals you receive, from eye contact to voice to body language.

3. Keep stress in check
To communicate efficiently, you need to be alert and control your emotions. And that means learning how to manage stress.

a) Staying calm under pressure: Use delaying policies to give yourself time to think. Ask a question repeated, or ask for an explanation of a report before answering.

b) Have a Pause to gain your thoughts: Being quiet isn’t essentially a bad thing, pausing can make you look more in control than rushing your response.

c) Deliver your words clearly: Speak visibly, sustain an even tone, and have an eye contact with the audience. Keep your body language calm and open. Only then, you are successful in conveying your words and thoughts.

d) Bind up with a summary: Summarize your topic in one or two lines and then stop talking.

Would you like to live your life with less pressure and more pleasure? It is your plan to get things in order and under control. We humans have an influential need to control the world around us. In the same respect, not being in control, creates an enormous amount of stress. As we developed, being in control of our environment increased our chance of survival. It can give us a sense of security, achievement, considerate, and predictability.

2. Self Esteem
Most people’s beliefs and feelings about themselves swing somewhat based on their daily experiences. The evaluation you get on an assessment, how your associates treat you, ups and downs in a personal relationship can all have a short-term impact on how you feel about yourself. For individuals with good self-esteem, normal changes may lead to temporary changes in how they think about themselves, but only to a partial extent. In contrast, for people with poor self-esteem, these ups and downs severely influence the way they see themselves.

They need positive external experiences like commendations from friends or companions to neutralise the negative feelings and thoughts that constantly infect them. But these feelings may not be permanent.

3. Trusting Your Feelings
There are some feelings common to all of us when we are incredulous with pressure in our lives and experience an emotional crunch.

a) Anxiety is a feeling of consciousness, helplessness, fear, and a loss of self-confidence. It is a response to an artificial threat, like having to perform for an exam.

b) Depression is a feeling of being lost or sadness. It is often a response to apprehend loss or failure and it may involve feeling helpless, disheartened, or unworthy.

c) Anger is a thinking against anyone or anything. It is a deep frustration in order to the belief that you are being ill-treated or you are not getting what you want.

Remember, we always have options that how we can live our lives? We cannot be able to control everything and frequently control is more of a deception. But when we give up choosing, we truly are out of control.
